Our new sunroom/etc is coming along nicely. My husband still has a lot to do but we are pleased with the results so far. We've had our eye on this reclining love seat for a few weeks and the price comes down 10% every month I think it is, so home it came. While I was looking around the store I found the chair and ottoman? and just loved the rich colors...in garnet, so this will set the tone for the room. Sorry I haven't posted lately, we've been so busy. Tonight I helped put in ceiling tiles, not much but a little. Now to see if we can make a spot for a crafting/sewing table for me here. Its nip and tuck for space even in a large area like this. My husbands desk is very large and occupies a corner facing the room where he can look out the french doors onto the patio that we will have done this spring hopefully. Well, better go pack his lunch.... I'm thinking of my web friends tonight and hoping you all are well, and looking forward to visiting you as soon as I can. I've been just soaking up the beauty of the tulips we have, I will have to take some pictures to share.

"Low in the grave He lay--Jesus my Saviour! Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose, With a mighty triumph o'er His foes; He arose a Victor from the dark domain, And He lives forever with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!" Robert Lowry....Christ Arose!
Some golden morning we who have given our hearts to him will arise too!

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I Thessalonians 4:16, 17

Doesn't that last sentence sound especially wonderful? I love it. "and so shall we ever be with the Lord". Off I go, tomorrow is another day, Lord willing.

Such a pretty room! I love your chair and ottoman! Your home is such a haven of piece :)

I've missed you, but then I thought you might be busy with your daughter and grandson coming for Easter and with the redecorating :)

Have a blessed day!

Great color scheme! Very inviting. I really like that interesting chair design.

Yes, an ottoman. We have one in the living room that I couldn't do without.

Tulips! We have a boat load in the front garden. Look forward to your photos.

It's heavenly.

This morning I was pondering an artist's sketched idea of what the throne room might be like. I have difficulties with images of heaven or Jesus because they tend to stick in my mind and then I don't do God justice for what is His Truth. The end result is that my affections are leveled on the image and not in Spirit and Truth.

As I thought on that, His scripture comes to mind...

1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
But as it is written:
“ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

I think I'll be content to know it will be more glorious than I could ever imagine. If I gaze to the setting or the rising of the sun I can at least catch an echo of His glory.
