I'm a happy girl, we are getting ready to get on the road and visit our daughter for her birthday. I will be gone untill next Thursday evening. I'm not sure if I'll be posting from the sunny south or not. The time will fly by like it always does. It will be a joy to be with our daughter on her 33rd birthday. Yes, my sweet little girl of whom this vintage picture reminds me...is a wonderful Mom, Wife and RN. And most importantly of all, saved...for Heaven, and loves Jesus. When she and her twin brother (proud of him too of course) were babies in arms, thier Daddy would carry them into church and down to thier little Sunday School room. The teacher and helpers would just beam a welcome. One time the teacher said our little girls teeth were like little pearls. You know how it is being a parent, we swell up with pride and love....smile. Looking back, I think those days from age 1 to 6 were just the very best. Before the daily school routine made an impact on our little family. In kindergarten they learned to read, and I was so thrilled. We would lay on the couch together and I would listen as thier childish voices would slowly and carefully read the little books like Lazy Larry...the racoon?? But I still love best the times we gathered around a book or a game, just homefolks looking forward to the cookies coming out of the oven and good books. Time endows memory with rich glimpses of what was important and precious, doesn't it!

"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding." Proverbs 3:13
