I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee...Psalm 9:verses 1 and 2a

Isn't this just so pretty! I love it. I like all things quaint and pretty. Its as if the artist is telling us that a pretty face is like a flower or perhaps that children are a joy to behold, they are certainly a gift from God, the greatest miracle apart from salvation. This evening at the grocery store, of all things they had in the floral section, a box of four gorgeous roses no stems, just the buds for poupourri I'm thinking. Anyway, home they came with me and I put them in the fridge to enjoy thier beauty tomorrow. Perhaps I'll post a picture of them tomorrow for this old postcard reminds me I have bought beauty for a song....smile. Happy Saturday to you!

Awww Maggie Ann, that is such a darling picture! I love it when artists combine people's faces with flowers - such a cute concept.
Interesting that the children should be depicted as roses. They each come with thorns. *wink*
yes that is pretty, love the little childrens faces peeking out.
