Just a quick post to say Hello. Our computer has acted up again, shutting itself down and having the full page warning... we thought perhaps we had a virus, but I ran Norton and it found nothing. This is the second time this has happened to me. Has anyone else had this problem? This cross-stitch is one I did some years ago. After all the hours of stitching, I was amazed to see that I had missed a few red stitches in her apron near the basket. Well, off to bed I go. Maggie, you can always say that you left those stitches out deliberately, like the Amish do with their quilt. Make it with one imperfection to remind them that only God is perfect (I like that idea). Anyway, it's a very sweet stitchery nonetheless.

oh these computers are enough to send anyone insane! just be careful of 'people' telling you to download stuff, sometimes it can be more trouble than its worth.

I did cross stitch for years upon years. I even did a picture of my mother and dad's engagement from 1944. That was something to get done but it turned out really great. They love it. I finally had to quit as my eyes just kept getting worse and worse from it. Yours is great!! We have so many things alike!! Great post!

Hi Maggie Ann, your XS picture is beautiful. If you hadn't mentioned those missing stitches, nobody else would have noticed anything amiss, so don't fret over them - not worth it!!
When I read about your computer problems, I was going suggest the same as your first comment here - Ad-Aware and Spybot are two free programs that EVERYONE should have on their computers. I was ready to throw my PC out last year; it kept freezing and the dreaded Blue Screen of death was tormenting me. I already had AdAware, but somebody recommended Spybot, and once I had run it, my problems were solved.
