A pretty bit of 'girl stuff' I arranged yesterday in the corner of the kitchen counter. When I hung the plates and this platter....I just loved the result. It made an ordinary afternoon something special! and...The other day when we were at Target I bought a bottle of Method...all purpose cleaner that is scented Lavender. I love it so much that I've cleaned the bathroom 3 times in 24 hours. Thanks to everyone who've mentioned how nice it is to clean with something like this. Thank you also to everyone who left me a comment...thats so nice of you and I enjoyed each one! Isn't it a blessing that in this broken world that we live in, cursed by sin & (all kinds of sad things) we have not only the capacity for making our little corner of the world cozy and as cheerful as we can, but we have the blessing of God to do just that...trusting Him for all. Hoping you have a restful and blessed Sunday. "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. " Psalms 34:18,19.

What a pretty arrangement! I like that verse as well. Thanks so much for all the encouraging comments on my blog. I actually learned how to make jewelry from looking at other jewelry artists' work on the internet and trying to figure it out. I've never taken a class or anything, and I don't know anyone else that makes jewelry! But I have benefited from several online tutorials and such, so I don't know if I could say I'm "self taught." It's a lot of fun, and I love working with nice materials. Thanks again for the sweet comments - they made my day!

Hi Maggie Ann...
Love your lil corner...adorable!!
That pink tea pot is terrific. Don't you just love to putter and change things up a bit? A little change here and there sometimes makes all the difference in the world. I love peeking in on your corner of the world!! That Method cleaner from Target is wonderful. I tried some Mrs Meyers cleaner, the Lavander scented, quite nice, and so soothing to use when cleaning, your relaxed and getting the work done!!! :)
Thanks for sharing with us, it blesses so many. Have a most blessed day in Our Lord.

Oh, how pretty! Love that ragdoll...

My friend, once again your feelings echo mine so perfectly...
And even when sometimes the sadness is right into one's life, one can still strive to preserve a little spot of coziness and peace... that hopefully may make the Lord smile.

I loved hearing about your sweet grandma... I am sure that your own house is a paradise to many! Thank you for each and everyone of your comments, I treasure them so.

Have a blessed Sunday! I am visiting my parents, so I am sending you smiles from an icy, but beautifully sunny Northern France :)

Maggie Ann, I'm a fan of the Mrs. Meyer's lavender myself. Don't you love the calming scent of lavender? I completely understand you cleaning so much! It just makes you feel good using it!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

I just love the smell of lavender, in fact I sometimes add a few drops of it to my vacuum cleaner filter and it makes the house smell so fresh.

What a pretty little corner!

I don't think I could use the lavender scent for anything...if it's strong especially. A lot of flowery scented things I am allergic to. I like (and am not allergic) to fruit scented products though. Oh, and I love the smell of Lysol disinfectant...the liquid stuff in original scent...or is that Mr. Clean? No, it's Lysol lol. Anyway, just thought I'd share that lol.

I have written down the name of that cleaner....Anything that motivates a three times in one day cleanup of the BATHROOM has got to be good!!!
Beautiful lamp in your cozy corner.
I love cozy!!!

Hello Miss Maggie, I'm slowly making my way around again. I can see the best at this time of night, after a full day of hourly eye drops. The little tableaux you created with the platter, angel, etc is so lovely. Very much like you..*VBS* Hugs my friend..sorry for my absence, Finn
