Here he is...our 'mr. adorable'. Our grandson will be two years old January 19th, and we are loving this time spent getting to know him in his 'big boy' phase. His endless energy and curiosity are delightful to watch. At our church we had our Children's program this morning and when the children finished singing, he clapped and yelled out a joyous ...'Hurray' !! And....when the children were performing a song for Jesus with hand chimes, our sweet grandson (who has been watching the movie, Peter Pan) heard the chimes and called out.."Tinkerbell"...what a smile maker he is. My daughter and I laughed so hard. Well, enough bragging from me tonight. Children are our richest treasures on this earth. Life is a gift of God...I am reminded of my mortality but also that... "Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth". Psalms 119:151 This life is the threshold of eternity...these little ones are us....in our yesterdays and we are them in the years to come. Sobering thoughts, but joyful if our trust is in Christ our Saviour. Posted by Picasa
