Favorite things Friday again. (This week I remembered! ). I told you one of the things I loved was to see was cranberries simmering and popping with thier wonderful crimson color. This isn't the best picture but it'll do *smile*. I got alot of things done today and just now am having a break before I get out my cello. I haven't really thought of Christmas decorating yet, but did bring in a box of pine tree cuttings to make wreaths out of. I'm still humming..."Come, ye thankful people come, Raise the song of harvest home; All is safely gathered....4th verse...Gather thou thy people in, Free from sorrow, free from sin; there forever purified, In Thy presence to abide; Come, with all thine angels, come, Raise the glorious harvest home". Won't that be wonderful, to be forever purified...no sorrow...no sin. I look forward to that! And the invitation is to all. "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17. No matter what direction my thoughts take, they always come home to Christ,my Savior,my God and my friend. Repenting of my sin and receiving Christ was the best thing that ever happened to me and I am always mindful of it. And, by the way, did anyone happen to try the pumpkin fudge recipe....and like it as well as me? It never really gets hard...and I keep it in the freezer, but its going to work with my hubby soon, to keep me from indulging overmuch..*smiles*. Posted by Picasa

You shared,
No matter what direction my thoughts take, they always come home to Christ,my Savior,my God and my friend.

Amen. He is the center of my universe. The reason why I breathe and have my being. I was just telling my husband this very thing yesterday. When we truly abide in Christ, there is nowhere we can wander far from home when HOME is within us.

On the back of your stove...
I see the snowmen napkin ring holders but what are the other ones? Chickens? If so, I love them!

Pumpkin fudge...hmm, have never tried it. Is it good? Well, apparently you like it cause you said so LOL...guess I don't really need to ask. Does it have a strong pumpkin flavour? I like pumpkin pie and pumpkin loaf, but I don't know if pumpkin fudge would be good...I supposed I would need to try a piece first before having it made so that I wouldn't feel like I'm wasting so much if I ended up not liking it (or anyone else in the family not liking it either). I'm terrible at making fudge. I have never had it turn out, well maybe once it did. I think I usually end up not cooking it too much. Seems like fudge making is a natural gift...you can either make it or you can't LOL.
