This is where a friend and I spent the day, strolling along the streets and stopping in lots of fun shops. We saw wonderful..handblown salt and pepper shakers of unique colors. Stitching kits and samplers galore, which we admired with awe and due respect...as if we were the country mice in the city for a holiday. We saw handknit goods for sale, browsed a fun bookstore and candle shop. We enjoyed looking over the selection of penny candy and floral arrangements in one specialty shop. In this toy shop I bought our grandson a rubber ring toss game to put back for Christmas. In an antique mall down the road...oh my, I found and bought some very special vintage valentines and a few post cards that are vintage and very pretty. Thanks be! Posted by Picasa

Sounds like you sure had fun! I enjoy doing that sort of thing, especially in craft shops.
