Its late and I'm tired so I just went to the picture folders and picked....the kitchen to post a picture of. I have to admit, we've changed the border since this was taken. I liked this border but after living with it for a while, I decided I wanted something more cheery, with a brighter red in it. So now we have an 'apples and blue bows' border by Waverly. I like it alot better. Its more cheery, but the background is white and you can see 2 inchs of the blue bottom paper showing through. I finished ms*robyn's collage today and off it goes to her in the morning. ...Thanks so much to each of you who left comments...I appreciate getting to know you better! This morning as I read God's Word...I read this." Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! (imagine how I felt, holding the words Job had spoken...in my hands, in God's book, the Bible!)....in all his misery he said this.."For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; And though after my skin (worms) destroy this (body), yet in my flesh shall I see God. Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold..." Job 19:23, 25-27a. How wonderful to hear Job speak, full of faith....trusting and knowing...God cannot lie..everything he says will come to pass. I started my day thinking about these truths and now I end my day pondering the same. We know not how soon, we too, may go to God. Posted by Picasa

what a very true thought ... how quickly our earthly time passes ... when i let little slights spoil my day - i am giving in to Satan's arrows thrown at my tender heart ... such things are so tiny when compared to eternity with the Lord and keeping our witness sweet while here on earth ... you bless my heart, dear sister!

I *love* the color of wood in your kitchen! Is it a lighter oak? It's so bright and cheery. I'm a big advocate of bright kitchens & bathrooms. Yellows, blues, greens - I love all these shades to brighten things up. Your kitchen is beautiful.
