I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee...Psalm 9:verses 1 and 2a

Good or Evil?
Its at the end of a very busy day and I am tired. This post is about the Harry Potter books. My words will be few. Everyone makes their own choices and rightly so. Having said that..I gladly confess that everything in my life is measured by God's word, the Holy Bible. Acts 13:8-10 the Apostle Paul speaks to Elymas the Sorcerer saying "...Thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?". For much more on the subject you can go here to Christian Answers.net If we should put just one drop of poison in a glass of milk, would that milk be safe for a child to drink?

Thats what makes this world a wonderful place and you so special. Each of us have our own thoughts and feelings about the bible and our faith. I think if I feel wrong about something then its a sin for me to do that certain thing but someone else might not feel that way. What is important is that we all believe and be true to our beliefs. Hugs my friend!
I am on the team Maggie! there is a wonderful arguement that describes another analogy about the drop of poison in a glass of milk: http://www.visionforum.com/hottopics/newsletters/newsletter.aspx?id=07-22-05
Long, but a great read!

Well said, Maggie. I'll have to remember that analogy.
yes Maggie, couldn't agree with you more! You know, before I became a Christian I was into witchcraft in a BIG way so it's probably one of the reasons why I believe now that it's so subtle and easy to fall for. Great post. Btw thanks for your comment at my blog.
Harry Potter doesn't even leave room to compromise. It isn't the usual good verses evil. It's evil verses evil with the greater/stronger evil winning.
Thank you.
