After my cello practise and cooking lunch, I am ready for a nap. Tonight is prayer-meeting so I think I will take a rest. I've had fun opening a Flickr account and uploading some pictures there. You know, I was surprised at all the interest in what I look like. You are all very kind ! I'm posting this picture cause I don't have anything else come to mind just now. I do notice it says...'Bon Ton corsets....the same branch of 'Bon Ton' around today? Hardly seems likely. (Although I recently told a friend that I don't believe in corsets...they are medieval torture...she agreed!).... I wish I had some lovely bit of needlework or sewing to post but maybe next week. The jeweler did call and say my Mums ring is ready. We had it made a little smaller. My Dad gave her this garnet when they were young...the garnet sits in the center of a gold...'lover's knot'. It was her most cherished possesion. We almost lost it when she went to ICU. After Mom went to Jesus, I noticed at home we didn't have the ring. When we called the hospital, they said they hadn't seen it. When our daughter got here, she said oh no, we'll get it....we'll talk to every nurse that took care of Grandma. She got on the phone and the second person she talked with, checked the narcotics drawer and there it was with her precious wedding band....I was so relieved...words can't tell you how I felt to have this precious ring. Our son drove up and got it and tonight....I'll be wearing it to church on my finger. Oh, thankyou Lord!! Thankyou so much. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened". How much infinitly more precious to ask for salvation and receive it....from God.
