The calm after the storm is about how I feel. Resting in the Lord, knowing God is over all and my Mother is set free from her pain. I miss her so much already. We are wrapping up loose ends like thankyou notes and throwing away the left-over food. Our daughter and her husband left for her home in the south this morning. They were a huge help with everything. We got Mums room at the nursing home cleaned out and went through things in the attic and made donations to the library and Ladies Garden Club which is what Mum wanted. I am blessed by all your nice comments and prayers, thankyou so much for caring. I'm hoping to get back to the normal, inbetween some tears now and again and embroider and sew and things. My daughter and I cut up Mums quilt and are going to sew pillows out of it for ourselves. It will be a nice keepsake. I can hardly believe so much has happened in a few days. I wondor what kind of joyous experience my Mother is enjoying and trust she is with the Lord, and her hubby and loved ones gone on before. It was so beautiful at the place where she was laid to rest, indoors. Now, time to move on and get that apron I was working on finished and a picture posted. Today is my hubby's birthday and our son took him out to eat. It was a delicious meal. I enjoyed it = ). Hey, I smiled there! We are remodeling our garage into another family room so I hope to give a progress report on that in the next few weeks. Once again, thankyou for your prayers and loving kindness....."Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus, I behold thee as Thou art....And Thy love, so pure, so changeless,.....Satisfies my heart." from the hymn...Jesus, I am Resting, Resting. Posted by Picasa
