It made up rapidly into this lovely cozy shrug, which...imagine this if you will....my husband said was 'elegant'. Now this is the ultimate compliment coming from hubby.....This is just so amazing.....can you believe the total cost was $3.00. well, because this was from a 'sale' bolt of fabric. Still.....I'm liking this = ). Now its time to 'swiffer' my floors and iron and before all that, my cello practise is waiting and I hear it calling out to me.......practise makes perfect, well sort of. I love to have mornings all to myself, don't you? Running around in that first burst of energy, which doesn't last too long but makes you feel like a kid again. The good feeling of working your way through the 'need to do list'. Conquering the laundry before it gets formidable. Swinging on the back porch to relax and also to get warmed up after the air-conditioning chills you to the bones. Scrubbing the kitchen floor which only takes 10 minutes but feels like you accomplished a small miracle because its lurked in the back of your mind several times in the last few days. Savoring the silence, and knowing you can pick up your novel and read a chapter whenever you feel like it. (Tootsie pops go ever so well with reading by the way). And knowing, over all and through all the day, God loves you and cares about your day, desiring good for us always.....I Peter 5:7 "Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you." Posted by Picasa

I have not missed your subtle way of trying to keep my spirits up through a time when people choose to misunderstand and misinterpret so much of what I write. Thanks for sticking by me. YOu're the best.

I sure enjoyed this post...sounds straight from your heart. And your shrug is wonderful. I'm of a mind to try one of those. I LIVE in my fleece poncho come winter...your piece is beautiful. And what a great price!
