Just for you Mrs.Darling, a picture of our breakfast nook. Actually we eat here all of the time except for hoidays. Its nice for company because out of necessity it separates the men from the women. We ladies gather around in the kitchen while the men are in the dining room. I think its more fun, because we laugh and giggle alot and the conversation can get as silly as we want. I think thats called 'fun' , right? I keep pictures of family and lots of our grandson under the glass top of the table. The swivel chairs are very comfortable, I'd love to have new ones, but have been outvoted '2' to '1'......About my banner problem, if you'll lend an ear again.....I've passed the point where it stretchs across the page, (not the html), and its in the right place in my sidebar...but...its jammed right smack up against the moon phases. The only place I see to put it is there and I've tried adding on the
to add a line of space but it doesn't work. Any ideas for me? Must rush off, my hubby is coming home early today, (oh happiness), but I am to be done with my laundry and cello and ready to go to town. In fact, I am quite addicted to my blog and always make time for it. Am I the only one that feels this way?? However, its sooo fun to surf blogs and get to express your life a bit in pics and words not to mention learning lots of things, like how to make a better bullion rose. (I still need help making them curve)!. Posted by Picasa

I never would have guessed that was a church pew, until you posted the closeup photo with the side view! That was worth all the hard work to refinish it!

Wow it took me all this time to get back here. Thats such a homey little breakfast nook. I love it.

Darling is trying to make the benches built in. It's a pain because they need to be custom made and he cant decide on how how wants it done! Grrr.
