The Gauge Encounter

It turned out I had to get help from an expert. I knitted the swatch twice, going up a size in needles and I still wasn't getting enough stitches per inch. I found out that the Paton's yarn I am (trying) to use is expecting me to use a pattern that I can "do" with size 9 needles and gets 4 or so stitches to the inch. So, another pattern was selected and I am going to have another "go" at the gauge....in the meantime I want to get over to visit Mom before my computer gobbles up my afternoon, as it has many other times...
