This little door is coming in handy! It opens into a shelf of the hall linen closet, which is very handy when you forget your towel. Hubby put a heater in the ceiling light that is fabulous, and gave me a heated floor too. I picked a porcelain tile that looks like oak hardwood. Love it....love it.
Oh boy, I thought I had better pictures....this is the ceiling before the can light was installed. Oh well, you get the idea...lol. And, I love grab bars and had several put in. Handy dandy....and a safer bathroom.
We have been so busy here, with the remodeling. When the bathroom walls around the tub were broken out (before the tile work).....a heavy layer of dust blanketed the hall and some of the rooms. Big cleaning job! but worth it all. And after about a foot of snow here....now its nice outside. 50 plus degrees is just balmy....but that snow sure was pretty!
Hubby took us to Half Price books and I found this treasure, love the stories and illustrations.
And this book is a gem! It was written by Margaret Jessup VanBriggle and published by Zondervan Publishing House. 1964. A story about a Missionary and the girl he loved. I'm trying to think what to say....give this 10 stars. What a pure and uplifting story. I had found a few of this type by Zondervan press and loved them so....well, a few weeks later we went back to the same thrift store and God blessed me again....we found 17 MORE...24 total. Each one I've read is a treasure. I'm a happy reader and thankful to the LORD, from whom all blessings flow.
Psalm 142:1 'I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.'

Beautiful. I love the colors! I love the idea of a heated floor. So nice to have a secret place for the forgotten towel, I do it all the time. :-)
Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful bathroom redo! You must be so happy with the results!
Great bathroom redo! So glad to see the titles you've posted of the older published books. I've been reading many titles by Gladys Taber (current read Harvest of Yesterdays) .. very moral content.
So that is why you have been away from blogging!
Love your new bathroom the blue is just right. My, the tub was heavy didn't know they still made them like that.
I found on free nook e-books "Once Upon a Summer" by Janette Oke love the way she writes and works in the plan of salvation in her books.
I try not to be covetous, so I will just say, "I am tickled to pieces for YOU on your new bathroom renovation " !
And those books ! Wow ! Are they by all different authors?
The bathroom looks so nice! We are planning some work on ours soon and I've chosen some tile that looks like wood too.
Some of those older books are very good.

I love the fresh blue and white. Those are the colors we did my bathroom, too and I love it. What a sweet book for Spring, too. I always wish I could go to the bookstore with YOU! Sweet hugs, Diane
Wonderful finds at the book store, Maggie Ann! And I LOVE your new bathroom! Love the blue & white tiles, and that little door that opens into the hall linen closet is such a great idea! I know you are really going to enjoy it!
