I am having such an enjoyable time reading! I just finished Keeper of the Doves by Betsy Byars, a wonderfully sweet story. She is one of my favorite children's authors. She makes me smile alot. And think. And appreciate the fine art of living. And I finished reading 'Morality for Beautiful Girls' by Alexander McCall Smith. Although not Christian fiction, treasures none the less. Next I am going to reread 'The Kalahari Typing School for Men' by A.M.Smith also. Envy me, deep in the stories of courage, tranquility and humor. Reading opens the doors to wonderful people and their story.
Now hubby and I are making lots of dried apple slices. Oh the flavor! delish! Worth the time, for sure. Yesterday was so beautiful, in the 70's but today.....no sunshine. Chilly. Some days you just have to make your own sunshine by enjoying life hour by hour.
Isaiah 54:17 'No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.'

Oh, that raccoon is the cutest thing I've seen today!
I love to read and often find it difficult to put my book down.
The dried apple slices sound delicious! What a lovely treat for this time of year.
Life is good when you love the Lord.
That is a sweet racoon, I am glad they gave him a helping hand.
Your apples do sound wonderful.
Yummy!
Will you use the apple slicers to decorate with this Christmas? They will be great! Oh, what a precious little raccoon! I wonder if they shouldn't have called an animal rescue number instead of taking it into the woods. Without knowing where it belongs, it might not have been found by its parents.
Have your read Alone But Not Alone? (Can't offhand remember the author, but it's a woman--it's based on her ancestors) Very good Christian youth book that is supposed to also be a movie.
