Alice-Herz-Sommer!

I wish I had a picture to insert here of Alice-Herz-Sommer, but here is a link to a photo on Amazon. She was a concert pianist who was a Holocaust Survivor. She lived to be 110 years old! You can buy her books yet and see interviews of her speaking and playing her piano on you tube. Netflix has a wonderful documentary of her called 'The Lady in Number 6'. Trust me, you'll love it. She was inspirational, a wonderful lady! And, she had a Facebook page which is still up. Many pictures & so on. I sure have loved seeing the Netflix documentary about her. I will never forget it.

I was able to get 3 free samples of her books from my itunes store. I'll enjoy reading them and then get the option to purchase the entire book. I like free samples, they are a nice little gift and they pay off for the Apple itunes store. I purchased two books just Saturday evening. (with pleasure) =). I hope you have time to enjoy getting to see the joy of Alice-Herz-Sommer...I just checked and if you go to you tube and type in Alice Herz Sommer the Lady in Number 6 ...the documentary I saw on Netflix is all there....love it. I will watch it again myself! This shows what a blessing we can be to others. We never know the impact our lives will have ...no matter what.

My Testimony

I was saved when I was 32 years old. We had evangelistic meetings the week of Mother's Day. When asked by the evangelist if I died tonight would I be sure I would go to heaven. I answered...'I hope so'. He answered, 'young lady, heaven is a 'know so' place'. He asked me to sit up front the next day in church, and the message was 'Hell will be filled with 'good' people'. The first one third of the message I sat in the pew and reviewed to God and myself what a 'good' person I really was. Not! The Holy Spirit of God brought conviction to my heart so vividly, that I clearly remember not needing to hear any more of the sermon. God's word had reached ME! I was a sinner on my way to Hell. I couldn't wait to go forward and pray, accepting Christ as my Saviour. I believed on him that day and received Him personally by repentance and prayer, confessing my need of salvation. Hell will be filled with good people all right, BUT good only in their own eyes. God alone is sinless and 'good'.

"ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is mad unto salvation.

Romans 10: 9 & 10 Verse 13 says this, 'for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' John 1:12 & 13 says, 'But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.'
