I ask myself, does our home have that feel of comfort and security that my Grandmother's home had for me in the past. (like when I was a child?)
Oh yes...a million times over, for I have the Lord Jesus now and my husband is ever near. Our children and grandchildren grace our lives with love and laughter, all blessings from God our Father who art in heaven. Hallowed be His name.

The pumpkins look great there. How fun! I love the stained glass, too. Did you do it? I tried one. That was all I could handle. I love it, but working with glass was not for me, especially, at the time, with little ones.
Beautiful post and photo. Glad to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
You have a lovely home Knitting Kat and I love to visit.
I have so much to be thankful for...our Lord who recently blessed us hugely after a period of despair and trial!; the gift of His love and the gift of His son's sacrifice for us! Family, especially in getting to be with our daughter and son-in-law and grandson this Thanksgiving and Christmas after such a long time! Having my Mom still, and the blessings of siblings, neices and nephews...Our well-being. Being with my husband still though he had a heart attack years ago and isn't in the best of health now. Spending 42 wonderful years as his wife. So many many blessings! It is truly a time to relect and to be grateful and to thank God.
I LOVE your stained glass window by the way. Lovely photograph.
Marie
what a lovely declaration of thanksgiving and love ... and the stain glass window is charming!
A truly thankful, content heart :)
