I am going to celebrate life in the windy, boisterous month of March by re-reading Gladys Taber's 'The Book of Stillmeadow'. Even though I am still finishing up 'The Teaberry Strangler' by Laura Childs...Gladys makes me laugh and drink of the cup of everyday life we sometimes think of as monotonous but actually..... is very rich with God's countless blessings. Sometimes you have to back off a bit and just enjoy!

A tranquil Saturday at home. Wishing you a cozy day...and aren't these warm/chilly days nice for a change. I'm a 'coldie' though....I love a good fire in the woodburner. Have you noticed the new blog in my sidebar? What a treat to see these handmade treasures! You do have to translate the page from Dutch to English though....no matter, its still a treat and no calories involved! And this is a new blog for me also, a family in Japan living through the tragedy there, may the Japanese get the help they desperately need, (thank you K, for the link) may God help them. Pray & give.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer."

Nice to hear you are enjoying a tranquil Saturday. Mine was very busy and fun but it is quiet now. I am tucked out though. Too late for a nap :)

Dear Maggie Ann, I want to let you know how much I am enjoying my memorization! I have been easy on myself and have chosen Psalms that are familiar to me.
When Bella and I are out walking, in the meadows or in the streets I recite them out a number of times each walkies time :0) I may look a little odd, but people talk on their phones all the time so I am just connecting with my Father. Thank you so much for all your inspiration.
have a lovely week,
Val xx Oxfordshire
