An ATC I made for a swap recently and it comes in handily for a post tonight. We enjoyed our church messages and fellowship today so much and..... The weather is beautiful and the fall colors are glorious. My husband & I took a day this past week and drove up into the mountains, stopping to shop at Herb stores and Mennonite stores. The farmlands stretch out for miles in every direction. Occasionally you are passed by a horse and buggy and the little Amish schoolhouse door was open and you could see the little black jackets hung on pegs inside the door. We bought dented canned goods at one store. Tea in a beautiful tin for a Christmas gift at another, pretzels, and ground Rosemary for seasoning soups. It was a wonderful memory, that trip. The trees were so gorgeous we sang, 'America the Beautiful' as we drove along. I drove on the trip there and my husband drove on the trip home. I was sorry that day ever had to end. 'Precious memories how they linger, how they ever fill my soul'.....

What a lovely memory you made! I'm so glad you took this little trip. So often, we think about doing such. And don't do it. I'm glad you did.
