Our son was in the Netherlands the other day and saw this classy 'wedding' car with the bride & groom inside I assume.(click on the picture for a great close-up) How romantic to have the bouquet on the hood like that. Wouldn't we love to have a car this ...well....classy!

Hope you've had a refreshing Sunday. We have...its been a blessing to have been in the house of the Lord and heard 3 great messages from God's word. My heart has been blessed and challenged.

"Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee." Psalm 86:4&5

Yes, we had a great Sunday. We had a missionary to Australia to come and preach for us on Sunday morning and our Pastor brought a very good message on Sunday night. Glad you had a very good one. connie from Texas; 8:42 AM

Once again I spent some time catching up and looking at your wonderful collages and beautiful home! Loved the sweet touch of fresh flowers on your coffee table and praised our God with you as I read your "Shadows" post.

I'm just spending this lovely Fall evening visiting-made the Fall banner this morning.
It's so beautiful outside-it's hard to stay in and work on projects-I'll be trying to get some pictures of the Fall colors soon!

My Testimony

I was saved when I was 32 years old. We had evangelistic meetings the week of Mother's Day. When asked by the evangelist if I died tonight would I be sure I would go to heaven. I answered...'I hope so'. He answered, 'young lady, heaven is a 'know so' place'. He asked me to sit up front the next day in church, and the message was 'Hell will be filled with 'good' people'. The first one third of the message I sat in the pew and reviewed to God and myself what a 'good' person I really was. Not! The Holy Spirit of God brought conviction to my heart so vividly, that I clearly remember not needing to hear any more of the sermon. God's word had reached ME! I was a sinner on my way to Hell. I couldn't wait to go forward and pray, accepting Christ as my Saviour. I believed on him that day and received Him personally by repentance and prayer, confessing my need of salvation. Hell will be filled with good people all right, BUT good only in their own eyes. God alone is sinless and 'good'.

"ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is mad unto salvation.

Romans 10: 9 & 10 Verse 13 says this, 'for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' John 1:12 & 13 says, 'But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.'
