This is what I ended up with for 'Wednesday Stamper'. Oh boy, did this go through a metamorphosis. The dictionary definition of that is a change or transformation as of a caterpillar into a butterfly. My background was more like a butterfly when I started and I added so many things that it turned into a caterpillar and I kept trimming it away, so here is whats left. I have to admit I worked on this in the wee hours of the morning and had a brand new jar of Golden's extra heavy gel moulding paste which I was dying to try. It makes an excellent glue as you can tell...it firmly held on all these shell buttons with a small amount of gel. It can be used for glazes too..the label says. Can anyone leave me a technique in the comments for using it in other ways? The stamp I used is the number '3' and the words. I also used chalks for tinting the clothes. And a page out of an old copy of 'Anne of Green Gables' bought at the Good Will store just for collaging. I added some trim and oh yes, on the bottom half of the children I glued a piece of waxed paper..sort of a transparency. And, lots of colors, sponged on the background and some on the buttons.
