This is my artwork for 'Wednesday Stamper'. The challenge this week is 'Framed' ...framing one of your rubber stamps. For this project, I used one ply of a napkin and Distress Inks. For stamps, I used my one and only lady stamp and masked off a Christmas stamp I had using only the rickrack border to make a frame around the stamping. I ended up adding brads across the top. I also hung a locket using red wire and plan on putting tiny pictures of our loved ones in it for a sweet memory. It was mounted on black card stock for a final frame. One of the things I love about creating a collage is that you never really know what you will end up with. Well me anyway!

Dear Maggie-ann...I am glad that you got to watch most of the Hallmark movie.

I still haven't watched it yet.
Bernie taped it and when I have a little more time we will watch it.
He likes to put it on a DVD.
He takes all the commercials out, except for the Hallmark ones and then we watch it together.

Thanks for all of your visits to my blog!!!.Love Terry

This is really nice. I like how you used the napkin and how you used only part of a stamp. Being a novice at stampers I'm impressed. I'm hoping to get some art done tonight and tomorrow night. Just haven't been able to settle down to it lately.

This is so pretty. HOw many stamps did it take to make the beautiful focal point?

this is so beautiful! i love it!

Linda, actually I only used 2 stamps for the focal point. The lady stamp is surrounded by the map and butterfly all on one stamp. The other stamp I masked and used only the rickrack border, but used it 3 times. I'm glad you liked it...=)
