Happy Saturday to you! This is my first 'transfer' using a copy from my own pc of me way back when one December 25th. I used Golden Medium Polymer Gloss. I don't really recommend this method quite yet...I'm brand new at this and had beginner's luck with this one I'm thinking. I spread a layer of Golden's on cardstock and layed my pc copy face down, covered that with waxed paper and rolled over it with a wooden rolling pin. About 1 minute later I was able to 'lift' strips of the copy paper off the card....its almost like the copy paper splits in two. One half sticks to the cardstock and you remove the other half the best you can...then....I took a damp cloth and gently wiped the rest off the card stock. Fairly good results but as I said, some beginners luck too. My other trys have not always been this successful. I spent an hour typing script and then changing it to a mirror image to transfer but am not having success with that really. I'm going to buy the 'great white' paper and try that. Still, if you home school, I think this would be a great project for the kids, especially if you can do it cheaply and it would work! My craft table is a disaster...really! I must hurry off here and practice and clean. The world is sunny and warm today, and it seems like spring is smiling down on us...I grabbed my camera when I saw the sun streaming in the kitchen window and lighting up the glassware with clarity and beauty. Wishing you a day filled with happy accomplishments!
