Last Saturday it was so mild outside I went for a walk in the yard. Look what I saw! horseshoe imprints in the green green moss under our oak tree. It was such a beautiful day last week and this Saturday is soooo cold and snowy. But oh what fun to have our daughter visiting for a week!!!
It is such a blessing and privilege to know God and to see the beauty he creates. Hubby just said it is 13 degrees out. Oooooh. Bitterly cold! I'm thankful for cozy heat. Our woodburner is keeping us warm though.
Even the trees are beautifully created....I see art here, there and everywhere. It must be wonderful to be an artist and capture some of this with watercolor & sketches.
Wishing you a Happy Lord's Day tomorrow. May God's love be your comfort and joy.

Thoughtful post, the created and our creator has sure blessed us.
I always wonder at the beauty in creation and how much more so it was before the fall. What we are seeing is the brokenness . . . and that is amazing.
Beautiful pictures. It was very cold here the past few days also! Glad you had your daughter with you!
Your pictures are beautiful. I especially like the last one. Glad you had a good visit. I'm finding that those times are special!
love the pics ... our world is bright, white and COLD!!!!! no greenery to be seen ... and wishing you a very happy day today - hope it's special, just like you!!!!
Good Morning, Beautiful images you have shared. Hope you are enjoying the week.
I know we often discuss books - did you ever read the Betsy-Tacy books?
Beautiful Post, Amen!
Hello again! I am back in Blogland and want to say how much I appreciate this beautiful posting. I too love winter trees, it struck me walking in the park in early December that all the trees - even the oaks - were then winter trees. But walking under a huge Chestnut tree I noticed the fat sticky buds already there .... waiting for Spring, and it made me marvel again at the faithfulness of our God.
Have a blessed week,

I am always so thankful for this wonderful world and feel that having such beauty around us is one of God's greatest gifts! So, I enjoyed your sharing of your springlike day and that it was a reminder that those days are not far off...and in the meantime you are cozy by that woodstove, while the winter air is bitter again. But, that little reminder was worth a LOT! Great pictures!
