You make me smile and think about good things. thankyou dear blog friend!

Peggy, thats how I feel about visiting your posts! I would love to be in your fav. links!

Kali, yes...home is all about the comfort factor. Much of America has forgotten how important 'home' is I think, in the great rush for entertainment and such. Just my thoughts about it.

Vintage Pretty...home is wonderful, isn't it!. We have so much to be thankful for. You know, I think Gladys Tabor and others based thier books on this very thing. Maybe the older we get the more we appreciate our 'haven of rest'.Maggie Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04991999931680942893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7053690.post-1126542978158541142005-09-12T09:36:00.000-07:002005-09-12T09:36:00.000-07:00That is a beautiful pic. Kind of "the fire softly burning, and supper on the stove...", a light in the window.
Someone who cares that we come home.
There was a quotation in a small quilting book I had, don't recall the name of the person. Will have to dig it out and see, but she said " our souls are like children, they need to know where home and how to get a hug, that's why God made friends". I think I especially like it because for a large part of my life I didn't know where home was. That's something that can happen in many different ways. What I realize now, is that it's about a sense of security and peace in your valley, no matter where that is. But I'm always glad God made friends..*VBS* Thanks for being the special person that you are...Finnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677133672404343036noreply@blogger.com
