Valentine's Day is coming up soon. Chocolates would be nice, don't you think so? What is as appealing as vintage cards? Treasures from the past...reminders that 'love never faileth'.

There is a touching article in the March issue of 'Reader's Digest' that just came out. Its a two page spread about Navy chaplain Terry Roberts...he says their unit has lost more than a dozen men since last year in Afganistan. He suggests people go 'looking for God, before God comes looking for them'. Hope you can read this. It reminds us to pray & remember our troops too!, some of whom will never come back home. If they know God...what a difference it will be...now and in eternity.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John chapter 3, verse 16. Just in case anyone is wondering...how can we 'know' God? Please click on the 'are you a good person' in the sidebar. I love that link...very much.

I am so pleased to have found your blog! I am a Christian too - please stop by my blog and see the posts for the Soldier quilts. Perhaps you would like to make one? It is good to see the link to Spurgeon :0)
Love and blessings, Val
