This puzzle was a lot of fun to put together. It is only 300 peices and called EZ grasp...the pieces are about twice as large as normal. A friend bought it for me at Target. My husband and I finished it in one evening, he worked on the sewing machine. It just about put itself together....smile. This day is hurrying by me but thats alright. I've gotten ironing done, and made snickerdoodle cookies for a friend that stopped by just for a few minutes. I'm going to get my cello out next and before I know it my husband will be home from work and we will eat and go to Lowe's to pick up a set of interior French doors we ordered about 2 weeks ago. When that basement room is finished, I'll be sure to post a picture. It is supposed to be a practical sun-room, hobby/workroom. At this point, we aren't sure how it will turn out, we're just hoping for the best. Leaving you with a verse of a hymn that I love.

Whiter Than Snow

Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole; I want Thee forever to live in my soul,
Break down every idol, cast out every foe; Now wash me, and I shall be whiter
than snow, whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow, Now wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow. William G. Fischer/James Nicholson (this hymn can be found in the Hymns link in my sidebar if you would like to hear the melody)

Isaiah 1:18 "Come now and let us reason together, saith the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow...." Romans 10:8-13 He is ever near.

What a pretty puzzle that is. I love visiting your blog and seeing all the Victorian looking items you show, etc. They are all so pretty and feminine. Thanks so much for sharing them!

I also absolutely ADORE your pictures and posts:) Looks like a lovely puzzle! Hubby and I started one when we were first married 16 years ago and never did finish it. A beautiful nature scene if memory serves. Should get it out and tackle it again!

SNICKERDOODLES! Great minds think alike. I told a friend just a few days ago that the kids and I will make some for MOnday morning when our Homeschooling friends come to the library. I am the "resource librarian" and we keep the library in our house. Once a month people come to check out books and visit. Everyone is excited about the Snickerdoodles. Who doesn't love them!? Mmmmmm...my mouth is watering. Can't wait! The kids love to roll them:)

Putting a roast in the crock pot early tomorrow morning before church. We will come home to a yummy roast, taters and carrots. YUM!!!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Maggie Ann, You are one of my favorite bloggers. I really do love to read your blogs. They are just like me. I love your tea pots, your beautiful colored dishes, just the homey way that you write. I think that you and I would really get along well as friends. I know you have visited my blog too. Plus we both know the Lord as Our Savior. Have a great weekend!!

Hello Maggie....
I just love the picture, although I not a lover of puzzles, however, I can well imagine that was a joy to work on and see the lovely creation unfold piece, by piece.
You've got me wondering, what are 'snikerdoodles'.

I'm don't 'do' jigsaw puzzles for the simple reason of not having the time! Well, it is a matter of priorities I guess; if I didn't stitch, read, blog, or work, I would find the time! But I admire the finished jigsaw results of my friends and family, and like the other comments here, I LOVE this one! I've never seen one quite like that - I would definitely stick it down permanently and frame it!
