Piano's also work well for card displays. We exchange cards with many in our church family. There is a table in the back of the church and you can just put your cards there for others and pick up yours. No postage! This morning finds me feeling peaked...is that the right word. My stomach is a little under the weather and causing some turbulance in my life....I can smile now, but not long ago..= ( I just called around and cancelled the plans for tonight and was sorry to have to cancel. The day stretches out before me, well only the afternoon is left now to do what in? Catnap, cross-stitch, practise or read. I'm already reading and am almost done with the story. Are there any Ann Tatlock fans out there?  Posted by Picasa

Hello Miss Maggie, sorry that you are feeling so poorly today...*S* Hope that is all better soon. A quiet day of reading isn't such a bad idea after all the hetic, busy days of the holiday season. Hugs, Finn

My dad has a Hammond organ and we used to put cards and such on it at Christmas. Now my mom has a little village scene that she puts up. She puts some quilting cotton batting down to look like snow and then puts it on top of that. It's just a small one piece thing so there is still room left over to put some candles and a poinsetta and a picture of my nephew. We also have a ledge that divides our living room from the stairway going to the front door, and she puts the batting there too and puts the cards on there.
