This was my Mums grandfather with all of us little ones.....guess which one I am? Mum just loved him so much...in fact I think he built her mums house as a wedding gift. What a guy!!! If you can believe it....I have a vague memory of feeling left out because I didn't get to sit on Grampa's lap! mum said that everyone would get to gether here to visit and mums aunt would mix up angel food cake from scratch in a huge washpan, and bake it in the washpan too! Oh memories....wish I had more good ones. Posted by Picasa

Hi Magggie Anne,
That is great picture. I think you are the one looking at the camera.

That is a great memory and story to share. I was getting ready to make peggy's collage and had to check to make sure I had the size right and I got to thinking. Did I cut your 8" or 8 1/2". I mailed it earlier this week so if you have it or when you get it please let me know.

Are you the cute little blonde? I love memories of my grandparents and hope my grandchildren will have good ones of me. Maggie thank you so much for all your prayers, scriptures, and kind words. They have really helped me and William these last few days. I say a prayer for each of my internet friends each night and count all of you as blessings. Please keep us in yours.

i guessed the brunette as well ... what a cute kid you were ... and still looking like my cousin Raili (who is just a young woman, 23 at the moment) ... :o) ...

those old pictures sure do tell stories ... but as we both know, they aren't all the "Donna Reed" variety, or "Father knows best" ... but it's good if we can take the sweetness out of the bitter ...

thank you for your sweetness & care! (hugs)
